Park Güell

Constructed on a Barcelonan hillside, Park Güell is one of the most enigmatic creations of Antoni Gaudí, a revolutionary architect distinguished for his unlimited imagination and his capacity to find new structural solutions.

Developed by the influential businessman Eusebi Güell, Gaudí's park was designed to accomodate the Barcelonan bourgeoisie who wanted to get away from urban overcrowding, but the financial problems and the lack of interest of potential clients left the project unfinished. Even so, the site has converted into one of Gaudí's most emblematic works, as evidenced by its inclusion on the list of Unesco's World Heritage Sites.

This book on Park Güell covers all the areas of this enigmatic work, delving into the origins and the symbolism of elements such as the dragon on the central staircase, the hypostyle hall and the Gaudí House Museum. This way the reader will be able to discover all the details of one of the most important artistic projects of the 20th century.
